CFRP Refresher Course and Exam Primer

This is course is designed as a refresher course and exam primer. Attendees should already have an understanding of the mental health system of care as it relates to children and their families. Experience working with children diagnosed with SED and their families will help to prepare attendees as they begin to study for the CFRP exam.

The Certified Child and Family Resiliency Practitioner (CFRP) is an test-based certification that fosters the growth of a qualified, ethical, and culturally diverse child and family psychiatric rehabilitation workforce through enforcement of a practitioner code of ethics. CFRPs work in all aspects of children’s behavioral health care. They are teachers to school psychologists, occupational therapists to social workers, behavioral therapists to caseworkers and so many more, all of whom share a commitment to the fundamental principle that children are resilient. 

The CFRP is a new certification, and PRA is pleased offer some of its first CFRP Refresher Courses in Oklahoma City, OK and Boise, ID. During this intensive, one-day course participants will review the eight essential competency areas of children’s psychiatric rehabilitation:

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation and refund requests for conference, course, training and events registrations should be received in writing. Refund payments may take up to six weeks for processing from the date of your refund request. PRA follows the following policy:

  • 30 days or more (prior to the course start date): PRA will issue a refund for the registration amount minus a $50 processing fee
  • 30 days to one (1) week (prior to the course start date): PRA will issue a refund for the registration minus a $100 processing fee
  • Within one (1) week of the program start date: No refunds will be provided within one (1) week of the start of the course
