Working With Life As It Is: Boosting Resilience For Everyday Challenges

You are here

Monday, June 26 / 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm

Life brings with it a host of challenges that can “pile up,” especially when jobs require our time, our presence, and our emotional energy.  Workshops and classes on stress reduction, self-care, and burnout prevention have proliferated with the promise of teaching practitioners how to cut down, manage, or create space from situations that overwhelm us.  This workshop is different.  Discarding a deficit perspective, the presenters provide vital insights and an introduction to tools and resources for building resilience and working with reality.  Come learn strategies drawn from positive psychology research with immediate and long-term personal and professional benefit.
