TED-Like Talks

PSR trainers and educators involved in workforce development face the challenges of how to actively engage adult learners, how to get them excited about what is being taught, and how to ensure a deeper understanding of content. Interteaching is an innovative evidence-based method that addresses these challenges and offers an alternative to traditional lecture-based instruction. Participants will learn about this technique by experiencing Interteaching strategies including: brief lecture, small group activities, and large group discussions. Evidence indicates that compared to lectures, Interteaching produces superior learning outcomes and many participants prefer these interactive techniques over traditional methods for learning.
