OFFICIAL VERIFICATION OF CPS A qualifying Peer Specialist credential is defined as a certificate/certification program containing 45 or more hours of training directly related to the 7 practice domains of psychiatric rehabilitation as outlined on the CPRP exam blueprint. If the CPS does not include a minimum of 45 training hours that relate to the 7 practice domains of psychiatric rehabilitation, additional training in the psych rehab practice domains is required. Applicants are required to submit athe name and contact information for an individual at the issuing agency who will be asked to confirm completion of the CPS certification program.

OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT (or verification) of education to must bear an official seal and/or signature from the academic institution. Applicants will upload a copy of the transcript to their online application during the application process. (Electronic copies sent directly from the academic institution may also be accepted). If the degree/diploma was granted under a previously used name, provide this information at the time of application.

EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION  (EV) Employment verification is required from all positions held during the qualifying employment period. Applicants will provide the name and email address of the direct supervisor. PRA will send an email asking the employer to verify employment information provided by the applicant using our online employment verification system. Work experience may be earned through full-time, part-time, volunteer, internship or placement in a psychiatric rehabilitation program. Part-time work can be pro-rated as Full Time Equivalents. Volunteer work, unpaid work, internships or placements in psychiatric rehabilitation's program may count for up to one half (50%) of the required employment experience
